Nomination Criteria
- Transforming educational institution require a set of qualities and characteristics that contribute to the transformation of educational institutions into dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational institutions of learning that prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world.
- This award is designed for educational institutions (e.g., schools, colleges, universities, or training centres) that have demonstrated significant transformation in innovation, inclusivity, and forward-thinking educational practices.
The Prizes
- A Research Grant Worth USD5,000.
- The Bunga Teratai Trophy.
- Certificate.
- Return Air Ticket for one to attend the GEA Event.
- Accommodation for GEA Event.
Nomination Process
- This award is open to all nationalities.
- Submission of application can be through self-nomination or nomination by others.
- All applicants are required to complete the registration and submit their application at www.gea.upsi.edu.my.
- All submissions need to be accompanied by:
a) a portfolio; and
b) a short video (of not more than 5 minutes) - Shortlisted applicants will be notified and partake in an interview with the panel of judges.
- All applicants must abide by the rules and regulations as stipulated in the terms and conditions.
- All applications are reviewed according to a set of criteria by the awards panel of judges.
- All applicants will be notified of the result within two (2) months from the closing date. If an applicant does not receive any notification after two (2) months from the closing date, the application is considered unsuccessful.
- The decision made by the panel of judges is final and binding.
