This award acknowledges educator leaders. Inspiring educator leaders possess a clear vision of educational goals, fostering excellence and innovation while demonstrating a genuine passion for learning that inspires continuous improvement.
They excel in effective communication, promoting understanding and collaboration among peers and students, and exhibit empathy and emotional intelligence to create a supportive, inclusive environment. These leaders are adaptable and resilient in navigating challenges, promote collaborative teamwork, embrace innovation, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
Through their inspiring and motivating leadership style, they cultivate a culture of optimism, growth, and success, driving collective achievement and well-being in the educational community.
Candidates may include individuals from local or international agencies, as well as those working in the legislative branches of local state or federal government. Additionally, individuals from non-profit organizations who have made significant contributions or implemented specific education policies are eligible.

Nomination Process
This award is open to all nationalities.
Submission of application can be through self-nomination or nomination by others.
All applicants are required to complete the registration and submit their application at www.gea.upsi.edu.my.
All submissions need to be accompanied by: a) a portfolio; and b) a short video (of not more than 5 minutes)
Shortlisted applicants will be notified and partake in an interview with the panel of judges.
All applicants must abide by the rules and regulations as stipulated in the terms and conditions.
All applications are reviewed according to a set of criteria by the awards panel of judges.
All applicants will be notified of the result within two (2) months from the closing date. If an applicant does not receive any notification after two (2) months from the closing date, the application is considered unsuccessful.
The decision made by the panel of judges is final and binding.
