Global Educator Award (GEA) is a prestigious event organised by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia to celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations who have contributed immensely in uplifting and supporting education initiatives at the global arena.

In conjunction with the event, UPSI will organise an education forum with the theme “A Reflection on MADANI Values”. The forum provides a platform to foster constructive discussion on the MADANI values, which encompasses not only academic knowledge but also moral, ethical and spiritual development.

The speakers selected are esteemed scholars from all over the world who will examine the issues and communicate their thoughts and ideas on MADANI values.

In conjunction with the award ceremony, the Great Teachers Summit (GTS) will provide a forum for educators to engage in discussions on STEM, Early Childhood Education, and Sustainable Education throughout the region. Having successfully gathered teachers from Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan last year, this year’s summit continues to provide opportunities for educators to explore collaborative initiatives with agencies and related stakeholders, fostering a collective effort to advance STEM education. The event aims to further strengthen cross-border connections and knowledge-sharing among teachers, contributing to the continuous improvement of STEM education in participating countries.
